This seminar helps parents of aspiring actors and models to understand the specifics and legal aspects of working in show business. We will advise you how to find a right agent or manager, how to prepare portfolio, how to select a good acting coach or a proper acting school. This seminar will teach you to avoid enormous unnecessary expenses and psychological traumas caused by fictitious “agents”, “managers”, “acting coaches” or “acting schools.”

The seminar is conducted by Dmitri Boudrine, SAG, ACTRA, UBCP, Professional actor, director and producer, Member of Screen Actors Guild of America and Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists, who teaches acting for over 15 years in US and Canada.

Don O'Melveny Gallery presents a new exhibition featuring the collages of two women who dare to create OUT OF THE BOX: Artwork by Georganne Aldrich Heller and Lark (Larisa Pilinsky). Curated by Peter Frank, L.A. Weekly art critic.

"Identity Theft" Mixer at the Crystal Russian Restaurant. Held together with the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and the Russian Advisory Board.

We had over 65 people, and a very useful presenation. Gifts were sponsored by "Night Watch" - "Nochnoi Dozor" - a Russian blockbuster film released that week in Los Angeles.

Heritage of the Russian Ballet Educational Exhibit and Reception
Heritage of the Russian Ballet - over 150 years of history.

A photographic exhibit, which traces the illustrious history of the Russian Ballet portraying leading soloists and personalities of famed Mariinsky / Kirovsky and Bolshoi Companies from the Golden Age of Ballet to present day. As a collection, the photographs have not been seen before. Presented archives starting from 1861 to photographs taken by Judy Cameron, a performing arts photographer and film historian. Her work has been featured in over 25 books. She is the author of "The Bolshoi Ballet" &"The Art of Gone With the Wind".

Event Summary:
June 17, 2004 was the official opening night of Russian-American Business and Arts Council (RABAC) - new Southern California network organization which promotes business and cultural interaction among Russian speaking individuals and businesses. Its current members and over 40 participating guests enjoyed the informal presentation of key-note speaker - Peter Kraus who is a principal of Interwoven and leading consultant with Small Business Development Center of Los Angeles. Combining pleasant informal atmosphere of business discussion and relaxed live music, drinks and food of well-known Restaurant and Jazz-Club like Lunaria of West LA really were the right ingredients for elevated mood and desire to participate in events like June 17 in the near future.

Many participants expressed their interest to join the RABAC organization (it has open membership) and excitement to see another event as soon as August, 2004
